Bigfoot Spotted In Canadian Mountains

Bigfoot has allegedly been spotted climbing up a steep slope in the Canadian mountains by hikers who recorded the footage.

The duo made the recording around two years, however they have only recently uploaded the clip to YouTube. It was shot by Myles Lamont while he was hiking in the Tantalus Range of the mountains near Squamish, which is located north of Vancouver.

The video has now been watched over 350,000 times since it was published on 25 April, and it shows a black dot moving up the side of the mountain.

Even though it moves as a human being there would be no reason for one to be in that area of the mountain, and its size and speed has only increased speculation over what it could be. During the clip Lamont remarks, “Pretty sure this is Sasquatch down there. I can’t see it very well. It’s this little black dot walking in the middle of the snow in the middle of nowhere.”

He the asks, “If that’s human why would you walk up that ridge or that snow line? Why would he not just go straight down?”

Lamont took to his YouTube page to reveal that he only uploaded the video to show several friends, and was surprised when people became interested in it. “We had no intention for it to gather the interest it has,” he wrote. “We are not claiming this to be anything other than a strange encounter.”

He then added, “The subject was clearly bipedal and was without snowshoes or a backpack and wearing all one coloured clothing. Movement over this kind of terrain in soft snow without snowshoes would have been very difficult and the distance traveled over the given time period would have been very fast for a human without proper snow travel gear.”

Lamont continued by noting that even though he had encountered bears on his travels the video definitely didn’t feature such an animal, or any other variation.

He then concluded by offering up the reasonable explanation that the beast in the video was simply a “very ill prepared hiker, hiking up a difficult section of snowline as opposed to a much easier route, one who is very physically fit and able to cover ground in unusually quick fashion and must have had very large feet as we were breaking through snow crust in just our boots.”
