Bates Motel: Don’t Miss This Thrilling Season 2 Finale [Video]

Tonight is the night of the shocking Season 2 finale of Bates Motel. We’ve watched Norman Bates struggle all season with trying to put all the pieces together, yet becoming more fragile and agitated within himself. In last week’s episode of Bates Motel, Norman came to the horrifying realization of his murderous ways while he was trapped inside a box for several hours.

Kerry Ehrin, executive producer of Bates Motel, tells TV Guide, “This was a huge chunk of reality for Norman Bates, who just doesn’t have an awareness of this part of himself. How does he handle that?” That is the question Norman must face in the season finale.

But, Bates’ mother, Norma, will do everything in her power to prevent her son from facing the reality of the truth. Unfortunately for Norma, it’s too late. Bates is now aware of the truth, the reality of who he is, and this truth is Norma’s worst nightmare.

In this Bates Motel finale, other realities must be faced, as well. Norma must deal with Dylan, her incestuous son as a result of rape by her brother. Ehrin tells TV Guide, “It’s going to come to a head in the (Bates Motel) finale.”
