Princes William And Harry Party In Memphis Like In The Old Days
Princes William and Harry were reportedly partying it up like in the old days while attending a friend’s wedding this past weekend in Memphis, Tennessee.
The royals have caused quite the stir with their presence in the southeastern US, not something that happens every day in the relatively quiet city.
But what could be so important that both royals would come to Memphis? The wedding of a friend who happens to a hotel heiress. So naturally, William — who recently returned from a first family tour with wife Kate Middleton and the new star of the family, Prince George — and Harry — who made headlines of his own when news surfaced that he and on-and-off again girlfriend, Cressida Bonas had split — had to be there on their pal’s special day.
From several reports in the news media, the wedding itself wasn’t the problem for the Princes, but rather the after party, which is getting all the attention following some sources’ comments as to what exactly took place during the celebratory event.
According to one eyewitness, the Princes were spotted having a great time at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club, where the reception was held. William was seen singing along with the live band and Harry was “twerking on the dance floor.”
Princes William and Harry came to Memphis to attend the wedding of their good friend, Guy Pelly to Elizabeth ‘Lizzy’ Wilson, the granddaughter of the Holiday Inn hotel chain founder. Harry was also an usher.

Band member Jimmy Church shared some of his impressions of having Princes William and Harry at the special party:
“He came up on the stage and sung ‘Shout’ with me and danced with me,” he said of Prince William. “They were singing, ‘Shout, shout, shout.'”
Princes William and Harry arrived late last week ahead of the wedding and they were received by hundreds of screaming fans, but had time to do some sightseeing and go to the popular restaurant Rendezvous for some barbecue ribs, as well as visiting the King’s home, Graceland and Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered.
But now the party is over and Princes William at least was spotted heading back home. It’s not clear if Prince Harry departed yet.
