T.I. Rescues Car Crash Victim On His Way To Popeye’s

T.I. rescued a woman involved in a bad car accident in Inglewood, California — and the woman seemed far more excited to meet the rapper than walk away from the accident unharmed. According to TMZ, the accident involved a cab and an SUV. The accident was so bad that the SUV flipped onto its side. T.I. was on his way to Popeye’s at the time but he knew that he had to jump out and help — so that’s just what he did.

The woman quickly recognized the man helping her out of the car and immediately asked, “Is that T.I.?” Upon getting confirmation, the woman — who was upside down in the SUV — said that she wasn’t wearing any underwear… and T.I. promised he “wouldn’t look.” The woman was okay but T.I. stayed with her until an ambulance arrived on the scene.

This isn’t the first time that T.I. has helped someone in need. As HotNewHipHop points out, T.I. was credited with helping a suicidal person down from a ledge back in 2010. He assisted police in getting a man to step away from a ledge on the side of a building in Atlanta. The rapper left a message for the man, telling him that killing himself wasn’t the answer and the man (fortunately) had a change of heart.

Obviously being in the right place at the right time makes a big difference in who you see and when you might be needed in a given situation. Although celebrities are often focused on where they need to go, many of them will stop to help out someone in need. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, actor Armie Hammer famously rescued a woman from a car accident back in 2012.

Anyway, T.I. still ended up going to Popeye’s after the ordeal but he went to location that was out of his way. Traffic was really bad where he was but he wasn’t about to let that stop him from getting some grub. It’s unclear who was with T.I. at the time of the accident but it sounds like he wasn’t alone. Even still, it was super nice for T.I. to stop and assist to the best of his ability.

T.I. is currently filming the movie Get Hard which will be released in 2015. The movie also stars actors Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. Other than that, things are pretty quiet for him, you know, aside from saving people from car wrecks.
