Luke Bryan The Performer, The Songwriter, The Family Man, The Country Boy

Luke Bryan heated up the stage and fired up the audience as the final performer at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, as reported by OCRegister.com. The twenty-something aged crowd could barely contain themselves when Bryan took the stage by storm, with his flashy white smile and those tight jeans Bryan is so famous for. No, he didn’t disappoint his female fans.

At 37, Luke Bryan is considered one of the hottest superstars in country music, according to Reporter-Times.com. Bryan was awarded CMT’s Entertainer of the Year in 2013, boosting his career to a whole new level. By the time Bryan’s fourth album, Crash My Party, was released, it sold over 500,000 copies in the first week alone. Tickets to his concerts also continue to sell like hotcakes. Yet, Luke Bryan remains the same ole country boy that was born and raised in Leesburg, Ga.

Born the youngest of three children, Luke seemed to have the perfect family, with loving parents, older brother Chris and sister Kelly. His dad was a co-owner of a peanut plant where Luke worked as a teenager, prepping and drying out peanuts. All the while, Bryan was enjoying various styles of music from Ronnie Milsap to Michael Jackson. Bryan tells Reporter-Times.com that Thriller was his very first cassette. “At school I could moonwalk all the way to the pencil sharpener and back,” he confesses.

Luke does more than moonwalk at his concerts now. He admits that he and his wife, Caroline, laugh about the fact that, for years, she thought his rear-end was flat. That was before Luke started working out. “Look, when you roll into a college bar bringing country music, you better have something else going on. I’ll shake it all night long,” Reporter-Times.com quotes Luke.

Family is extremely important to Bryan, who lost his brother Chris at the young age of twenty-six in a car accident, and years later, lost his sister, Kelly at the tender age of thirty-nine to unknown causes. Bryan’s parents couldn’t handle the stress and ended up divorcing. Luke’s family was falling apart before his very eyes. Luke is very thankful to be close to his sister’s two children, as well as for his college love, Caroline, whom he married in 2006, and their two handsome sons, Bo and Tate.

Bryan says that he doesn’t make a practice of writing songs about personal situations in his life, or even specific people. But, Luke does admit that there have been times when he has performed one of his top hits, Drink A Beer, as a tribute to Bryan’s siblings per Reporter-Times.com.

Luke currently lives in Nashville with Caroline and his boys, but admits that he always enjoys going back to his small hometown of Leesburg. Luke Bryan is the true epitome of a good ole country boy.
