Floyd Mayweather Abortion Post Quickly Deleted From Facebook
Over on Facebook, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. aired some dirty laundry regarding the alleged abortion that tanked his relationship with fiancee Shantel Jackson — and while it was later deleted, screencaps of the angry update have been circulating the sports and gossip blogospheres.
Floyd Mayweather’s abortion allegations were made in a Facebook post alongside a sonogram image and someone posting to the page commented in the initial update:
“The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies… She killed our twin babies. #ShantelJackson #FloydMayweather #TheMoneyTeam #TMT.”
It’s not clear whether Mayweather himself or someone with access to the page made the abortion claim in the quickly removed post, but after it appeared and disappeared, another image of Jackson was posted.
Alongside the second picture, the poster commented:
“#tbt @missjackson Before all the plastic surgery I had to pay for,” the post said. “I’m a Indian giver I want my money back LOL #ShantelJackson #FloydMayweather #TheMoneyTeam #PlasticSurgery #TMT.”
On Facebook and Twitter, #tbt or #throwbackthursday are often used in posts with older images of the poster or memories posted on Thursdays.
The site FightHype.com details the claim that Mayweather and Jackson split over an abortion, and some of the rumored reasons the split was ostensibly contentious.
The writer explains:
“According to one source, Jackson originally claimed to have had a miscarriage, but it didn’t take long for Mayweather to discover the truth of the abortion. Mayweather was said to be affected ’emotionally and mentally’ as abortions go against his belief of killing babies.”
FightHype continues:
“Furthermore, we’re informed that Mayweather began to question if the babies she was carrying were really his, causing him to call an abrupt end to the relationship. Mayweather first hinted about the loss of the babies on the third installment of All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana.”
Leak site MediaTakeOut has leapt into the fray involving Floyd Mayweather’s abortion claims, posting what appears to be medical paperwork confirming the allegation. MTO says:
“According to our insider, that the real reason for the break up of Floyd Mayweather & former fiancé Shantel Christine Jackson-Mayweather is that she lied to him about the ‘miscarriage’ of twins she was carrying. Word is that the babies were actually aborted – and we have PAPERWORK EVIDENCE below!!!”
Floyd Mayweather’s abortion post is not pictured at MTO, but you can view their paperwork post here. Mayweather’s official Facebook page no longer has the post in question, but fans posting to his wall have expressed condolences over his breakup and the alleged pregnancy loss.
