Demi Lovato Fans Can Vote To Bring Concert To Their Town!
Demi Lovato, world renowned pop star, and Shazam, a music recognition service announce a groundbreaking deal today which will allow her fans to decide where Ms. Lovato’s European tour takes her. The partnership will create a tour schedule for Demi Lovato created by tags that are received on Shazam’s platform through the end of May. Peter Szabo, Shazam’s head of music says in a statement.
This is a fantastic way for Shazam to help Demi Lovato fans across Europe easily cast their vote to have her play in a city near them.
Earlier in the year, Warner Music Group and Shazam created a similar partnership which allows Warner to access Shazam’s information collected by the service to plan our tour dates for their acts. Shazam’s deal with Demi Lovato is the first with a specific artist. “I am thrilled to collaborate with Shazam on such a unique promotion which puts my future in my Lovatics’ hands by allowing them to pick which cities I visit!” says Lovato. Twitter twits have stormed Twitter with lots of support for the new deal and Demi Lovato herself.

In other, semi strange, Demi Lovato news. A rabid fan apparently jumped on stage and bit a security guard after he attempted to remove her at a show in Rio De Janeiro.
