Man Leaves Shoes On The Bus And Walks Home Barefoot, The Reason Why Will Make You Smile

An anonymous British Columbia man is making people all over the internet smile as the story about him leaving his shoes for a homeless man begins to spread across social media.

The 27-year-old resident of Surrey, British Columbia was returning home on the bus when he noticed the homeless man was wearing only hairnets as shoes to protect his feet. Next thing the homeless man knew, the generous man had taken off his shoes and handed them to him.

Bus Driver Surjit Singh Virk saw the act of kindness unfold, telling the Toronto Sun:

“He just took his shoes and socks off and said, ‘You can take these, don’t worry about me – I live close by and can walk.'”

Virk added, “People usually don’t care or even look at other people on the bus, they didn’t even want to sit beside this guy because of how he was dressed.”

Asking not to be identified, the man simply felt that it was the right thing to do in the situation, saying that it is his faith that is the reason behind his actions.

“I felt bad for the guy. He was wearing plastic hairnets on his feet. I was only about a two-minute walk from home, so I thought I could give him my shoes.”

This man looking after his fellow human being is an act of kindness that truly warms the heart and will hopefully serve as an example to those who read it.
