Backstreet Boys Tour Delays Nick Carter’s Horror Movie


The upcoming Backstreet Boys tour is putting a damper on Nick Carter’s quest for cinematic stardom.

Although the singer is presently attached to star in the upcoming horror movie Evil Blessings, his obligation to the Backstreet Boys has forced producers to delay filming. In fact, Carter won’t step in front of the camera on the project until early next year.

According to the folks at Hollywood.com, the Backstreet Boys singer broke the news to his fans on Twitter. If you were hoping to get your mitts on a copy of Carter’s horror flick this year, then you’ll have to find your scares elsewhere.

The Backstreet Boys singer penned the script for Evil Blessing last year. After putting together a modest budget with some help from fans, Carter was all set to get the endeavor off the ground. Unfortunately, the unexpected death of the movie’s director ultimately pushed back production. However, it doesn’t look like the guy is giving up on the project just yet.

Here’s the flick’s official logline:

“‘Evil Blessings’ is about three friends who go up to the the mountains to hunt, but soon discover they are the one’s being hunted by an ancient family of evil.”

This isn’t the first time Carter has taken to the micro-blogging site shortly after his wedding. The Inquisitr previously reported that the singer issued a few 140-character messages after ‘N Sync’s Joey Fatone declared that New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys were only touring because they needed the money. Not surprisingly, Nick wasn’t thrilled about Joey’s snide remark.
