Real Housewives Of Atlanta Strike: Nene Leakes Denies Pact To Save Porsha Stewart From Being Booted

A Real Housewives of Atlanta strike reportedly being organized by the show’s cast members to keep the volatile Porsha Stewart on the show is being denied by one of the show’s big name stars.

The rumors have been circulating for a few weeks, sparked by an incident at the show’s reunion special. A fight between Porsha and Kenya Moore that led to police being called that reportedly had the other Real Housewives of Atlanta banding together to keep Porsha on the show, vowing to strike if Bravo producers decided to boot her from the show.

TMZ reported:

“The entire cast of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ — minus one — is threatening to walk off the show if Porsha Williams is fired over her fight with Kenya Moore.

“The one holdout — Kenya Moore.

“Sources close to the show tell us the women hatched their plan this weekend at Kandi Burruss’ wedding… telling the show’s producers how much they despise Moore because of all the drama she stirs up.”

But NeNe Leakes now says that the cast members never came together to make such a pact. In an interview with Essence, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said the other women on the show had no intention to go “goosing up together to be going to bat for Porsha. We don’t collectively do anything.”

NeNe added that there wasn’t much the girls could do to save Porsha Stewart, even if they wanted to.

“I do think [Porsha] was on the chopping block before she got into the fight,” she said. “Fighting Kenya did not help her case.”

Legally, Porsha Stewart may have sealed her own fate on Real Housewives of Atlanta. A report from Us Weekly noted that an arrest warrant was filed after the fight with Kenya Moore. This was confirmed by Sgt. Gregory Lyon of the Atlanta police, who said the warrant was for simple battery.
