Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter Isn’t Happy With Joey Fatone’s Remarks

The Backstreet Boys are back, but ‘N Sync singer Joey Fatone feels the guys decided to get regroup simply because they needed the cash. BSB fans were a little shocked when Fatone decided to share his thoughts and feelings about the boy band’s latest tour.

According to Fatone, the Backstreet Boys were simply in it for the money. Not surprisingly, this diss didn’t settle well with fans or the band. According to Us Weekly, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter took a moment out of his honeymoon to address the comments made by his fellow pop singer. Not surprisingly, the guy wasn’t exactly thrilled that someone decided to call their dedication to the craft into question.

“Just disappointed, I really liked Joey. I’m proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully its about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong. Now let me go back to enjoying my honeymoon,” Carter explained.

According to Contactmusic, Joey Fatone took aim at the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block because of their recent decisions to go back on the road. The singer’s issue with these groups seems to stem from the fact that they previously expressed no desire to ever tour again. “All these other groups and bands said that we will never tour again and you see New Kids On The Block tour and stuff like that. I feel like they just need the money. No offense guys!” Fatone said. Of course, by this point it was way too late.

Backstreet Boys fans will no doubt throw this directly into the singer’s face should he ever decide to get back together with the rest of ‘N Sync. Unfortunately for fans, Joey revealed that he doesn’t have any plans to reunite with the other fellas right now. The singer explained:

“I don’t know whether or not something will ever happen again, but again you always say never say never because that happened. That was never gonna happen and all of a sudden it did happen. At this moment in time is anything gonna happen? Absolutely, 100 percent no… at this moment.”

While Joey Fatone is extremely busy worrying about what other people are doing with their careers, the Backstreet Boys and their ilk are looking toward the future. There’s even a rumor going around that they could team up with the Spice Girls for a major tour in the near future. However, nothing about this particular report was officially confirmed as of this writing.
