The director of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Applied Astronomy Institute told an audience of international astrophysicists on Tuesday that Russia would find extraterrestrial life on another planet within 20 years.
According to Andrei Finkelstein:
“The genesis of life is as inevitable as the formation of atoms,” said Andrei Finkelstein. “Life exists on other planets and we will find it.”
He went on to note that since 10% of planets around other suns are “Earthlike” there’s a good chance that any aliens discovered will be humanlike in their physiology.
While aliens may have two legs, two arms and one head, there’s a good chance that they will have different colored skin than humans.
