Seth Rogen Responds Harshly To Anti-Marijuana Tweets

Seth Rogen is well known for his pro-marijuana stance. On Wednesday, March 12, he was on Watch What Happens Live when he released a list of celebrities he has, and has not, smoked weed with.

In February, Seth Rogen testified before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services hearing, about Alzheimer’s. Even in that serious moment, Seth Rogen broke the ice by saying, “I don’t know if you know who I am at all. You told me you never saw Knocked Up, chairman, so it’s a little insulting but…”

The Democratic Senator from Iowa responded with, “I want the record to note, I will wager this is the first time in any Congressional hearing in history that the words knocked up have ever been heard.”

“Oy, you’re not going like the rest of this then,” Seth Rogen proceeded. “First, I should answer the question I’m sure any of you are asking: Yes, I’m aware this has nothing to do with the legalization of marijuana. In fact, if you can believe it, this concerns something that I find even more important.”

Having appeared in, or otherwise taken part in the creation of, movies like Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Superbad, Knocked Up, and This Is The End, it’s not all that difficult to see the hilarious Seth Rogen as a stoner, even if he hadn’t admitted it on several occasions.

With that in mind, is it any wonder that a three tweet rant from Nancy Grace, spewing propaganda on marijuana, would get some kind of response from Seth Rogan?

Following reports of a Denver man who was high on weed and killed his wife during a 911 call, Nancy Grace took to twitter to turn the tragedy into a campaign against marijuana.

“Copy says daddy eats marijuana & goes crazy. He shoots his wife in the head while she pleads with 9-1-1 for help! #PotToBlame?,” is the first tweet of her rampage. She goes on to say, “If pot makes you mellow and laid back, why does this guy allegedly turn berserk and gun down his wife? #PotToBlame?”

By the time she posted her last tweet, “How many people must die before this stops?! #PotToBlame?,” Seth Rogen wasn’t the only one fed up with her. He responded with, “@NancyGraceHLN you are a f*cking dumbass.”

Twitter members responding to the quick back and forth between Seth Rogen and Nancy Grace seem to back Rogen’s assessment 100 percent.
