Hillary Clinton: ‘Shoe Truthers’ Include Rush Limbaugh? Shoe Throw Staged?

Could Hillary Clinton have staged the recent shoe-throwing incident which landed a woman in jail and brought back memories of President Bush also dodging a shoe attack?

Rush Limbaugh doesn’t put it past Clinton, current Democratic Queen and 2016 Presidential hopeful. Speaking on his radio program Monday, Limbaugh initially danced around his take on the near-miss shoe that almost beaned Clinton in the head while she was speaking in Las Vegas last week.

Limbaugh’s thoughts on the incident included his assertion that he he hadn’t actually seen the footage so was “ill-equipped” to discuss it. Really?

That seems difficult to believe. Kind of like a Bigfoot or UFO enthusiast not rushing to see a new piece of video or other evidence, but okay, Rush:

“I can totally relate to those who believe that everything the Clintons do is staged or choreographed.” Limbaugh opined. “I’ve got people telling me her reaction wasn’t natural. But I’m sorry. I’m ill-equipped to comment, I haven’t seen it. Nooo, I haven’t cared enough to go try to find it. I really haven’t. Somebody threw a shoe at Hillary. Big whoop. Maybe it’s because in my subconscious I think it was staged or set up or whatever. Look, folks, I know these people so well that I do not attach much genuineness to them at all, and I don’t know why anybody would be throwing a shoe at Hillary unless maybe it’s an attempt to make the Benghazi people look like nuts and lunatics and wackos. That’s if it even had anything to do with that, which I don’t know. But apparently it’s not just me, folks.”

Rush’s concluding remark is correct about it not just being him. Another potential shoe-truther posted on Fox News contributor, Bernard Goldberg’s blog regarding the Hillary Clinton shoe throwing incident:

“It would not be stretching logic to suppose that Hillary arranged to have the shoe thrown at her,” wrote Arthur Louis. “Remembering the Bush incident, she may have calculated that this would make her seem presidential.”

The Associated Press reported that the woman who threw the shoe at Hillary was taken into custody but released from jail shortly thereafter. She faces a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge via county authorities, and federal trespassing and violence charges.

Limbaugh’s take on the Hillary Clinton shoe thrower being released so quickly?

“Apparently the media doesn’t seem to have much interest in what motivated the woman shoe thrower. She (was) let go pretty quickly,” said Limbaugh. “Hillary thought it was a bat flying at her. Hillary’s reaction is kind of odd, if you would genuinely be surprised at something like that. But it’s the Clintons, so what are you gonna do?”

But in the end, what could possibly be the upside for Hillary Clinton? Why would Hillary risk her presidential run by having some random woman throw a shoe at her?

Like other truthers, that’s where it gets difficult to explain. Ask a 9/11 truther why our government – or whatever dark force they think was responsible besides Al Queda – would want to blow up the Twin Towers, they’ll tell you:

“To start a war! So, essentially, like, Haliburton and Bush and Cheney could, essentially, start a war and, sort of, take all the oil and, essentially, give it to their cronies.”

But as it ends up, all we really need to do to start a war is say someone has weapons of mass destruction. So why go to all the trouble of blowing up the World Trade Center?

And speaking of Iraq, if Bush, Cheney, or whoever, was really so clandestine and sneaky, wouldn’t they have been able to plant some WMDs somewhere in the Iraqi desert, to stumble upon and justify the war in Iraq?

The same goes for these Shoe truthers. Besides, Hillary would have to be a pretty good actor if the shoe throwing incident was staged. Her reaction to the shoe flying by her head is about as quick as one would expect from a tortoise. The shoe has completed it’s flight, landed on the stage and tumbled to a stop before Hillary even begins to flinch.

Anyway, it’s hard to know what Rush Limbaugh is thinking by joining the shoe truthers. Of course in Limbaugh’s world, Hillary Clinton can do no right because she’s just all left.
