Belle Knox: Duke Porn Star To Host ‘Sex Factor’ Porn Reality Show

Belle Knox, the now infamous Duke porn star who says she is paying her way through the prestigious, private North Carolina university by performing in porn videos — an experience that she has called “empowering” and “freeing” — is apparently moving up in the world, sort of. She just landed a job as host of an online reality show modeled on American Idol or The X Factor — but for aspiring porn stars.

The Belle Knox reality show will, not surprisingly, be called Sex Factor, and will feature eight women and eight men who will compete in a series of sex “challenges” for a purported $1 million prize and a shot at porn stardom.

None of the contestants will have ever taken part in porn before, so watching them perform sex acts on camera for the first time will apparently be part of the web-based program’s appeal.

As will Belle Knox, who recently, as The Inquisitr reported, has been on the receiving end of a backlash from other porn stars who felt that the upstart Duke student is not yet qualified to be the public face of the porn industry, which she has become, more or less by default.

They accused the Duke freshman, also, of being bossy and demanding on porn sets, and at one point crying when she learned that her prospective sex partner in a scene was too old for her tastes.

Porn is clearly about money more even than about sex, however, and Belle Knox — who is really a Seattle teenager named Miriam Weeks whose father is a doctor — is now the industry’s best-known and therefore most marketable name. And so, the Duke porn star gets the porn realty show hosting gig.

“This reality show is going to be such a game-changer that Simon Cowell will wish he’d thought of it himself,” said an unnamed source involved with the production, rather improbably.

The Sex Factor show will feature some porn stars more established than Belle Knox in the role of judges, giving advice and critiquing the performance — or more accurately “performance” — of the 16 mostly unclad contestants.

Among the judges will be Keiran Lee — a male porn actor who has reportedly taken out a $1 million insurance policy on his penis — Tori Black, Lexi Belle and Remy LaCroix. The cast is pictured above, with Duke University’s own Belle Knox on the right.

The Belle Knox reality series will begin with an open casting call in San Francisco and will conclude at the annual AVN Awards — sort of an Oscar ceremony for porn — in Las Vegas on January 24 of next year.

No other details were made public, such as where the show will be accessible on line — though a site with the URL sxfactor.com has been created already — and whether Duke porn star Belle Knox herself will be performing any sex acts in the show. But Sex Factor has its own Facebook page, so presumably that is the place to check for details.
