Eva Marcille Obtains Restraining Order, Then Gets Lovey-Dovey: What’s Up?
Eva Marcille obtained a restraining order on March 28 against her boyfriend, Kevin McCall, following a serious domestic dispute.
And this only two months after welcoming their first child together.,
Marcille, 29, won the order against McCall, 28, according to TMZ, after the rapper and music producer got violent with her. They apparently were in the midst of a heated argument when McCall chased her around their home. He also is alleged to have tried to snatch their two-month-old infant daughter, Marley, away from her. Marcille claimed that he smashed four doors in his path and threatened to punch her.
The restraining order requires McCall not to come within 100 feet of Eva. The couple began dating in January 2013, and Marley Rae was born a year later. McCall already has a daughter from a previous relationship.
However, Eva seems to have had a change of heart since the restraining order came into effect. This weekend, Marcille posted a photo on Instagram of herself, together with Kevin and baby Marley, smiling and looking like one happy family.
Neither have confirmed or denied the actual details of the domestic dispute, so all that is known is the information contained in Eva’s complaint to the court.
Eva Marcille gained her fame initially by winning the title of America’s Top Model from the TV show of the same name. This enabled her to launch into a career of modeling, which she still pursues despite having made the transition to TV in 2005.
Eva has appeared in a number of shows and sitcoms, and is probably best known for playing the role of Tyra Hamilton on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
In 2009, Marcille was nominated for two NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for playing Tyra, but didn’t get the awards. However she did win a Young Hollywood award.
Eva Marcill most recently appeared as herself in Real Husbands of Hollywood. Whether we will ever hear the sound of wedding bells for this couple seems unlikely – so Eva will just have to play at having a pretend husband for now.
