Johnny Depp Bluntly Clears Up Amber Heard Pregnancy Rumors
Johnny Depp doesn’t want his fans and followers to think of him as a savage.
In case you haven’t heard, Depp and fiancé Amber Heard recently found their names mixed up with some pregnancy rumors perpetrated by industry insiders and anonymous sources. According to Hollywood Life, the folks at OK! magazine — a publication known for running less-than-accurate stories — suggested that the actress was ready to have Johnny’s baby.
“Amber is so ready to be a mom. [Johnny] says it’s a whole new life for him. He’s thrilled to bits!” the source explained to the publication.
Since everyone wants to know if Johnny Depp intends to reproduce one more time, the actor faced a question about the pregnancy rumors during his interview with Today. When co-host Savannah Guthrie asked if he was expecting, Depp seemed a little perplexed by the question.
“A child? Good god, what do you think I am, a savage? No, no truth to that. [It’s] not a shotgun affair,” Johnny said in response to the inquiry.
In addition to shutting down rumors that his fiancé is pregnant, Johnny Depp took a moment to sing the actress’ praises. He said, “She’s a wonderful girl. She’s sharp as a tack. A southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me.”
Celebuzz explains that Heard wasn’t so quick to accept Johnny Depp’s proposal. Instead of immediately giving the guy an answer, she decided to take her time and properly think about the situation.
“Amber really took her time to make up her mind. She turned him down before she said yes. So she waited and was thinking about it for a long time,” a source told the website not too long ago.
