New Dunkin’ Donuts Flavors For Spring And Summer

Dunkin’ Donuts is once again announcing a fresh new flavor palate to delight the senses just in time for spring and summer. This iconic coffee and donuts restaurant is bringing a variety of fruity flavors to their iced tea line, as well as a revolutionary new donut idea, for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

To coincide with the Easter holiday, Dunkin’ Donuts has introduced an inspired donut that will resonate with marshmallow lovers everywhere, featuring that popular, well-loved Easter treat, Peeps. Dunkin’ Donuts has created a flower shaped donut in pastel colors of pink and green, with a chick shaped Peep perched on top. This delectable delight promises a burst of pleasure for the taste buds of adults and children alike, and will be available at your local Dunkin’ Donuts from March 31 through Easter, which falls on April 20 this year.

Another exciting addition to the Dunkin’ Donuts menu will be coming in May. Dunkin’ Donuts will be offering mini Peeps in flavors of Sour Watermelon, Strawberry Crème, and Chocolate Creme. A 24 count package will cost $3.99. We will no longer have to wait for Easter to fulfill those intense Peeps cravings!

For the spring and summer seasons, when warm temperatures drive thirst to a high level, Dunkin’ Donuts has turned to the iced tea line for bringing refreshment to its customers. Just today Dunkin’ Donuts rolled out its new freshly brewed Iced Green Tea, which features the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal, containing 30 percent tea from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms that are managed according to rigorous environmental, social, and economic criteria. In celebration of the Iced Green Tea launch, Dunkin’ Donuts is donating $50,000 to the Rainforest Alliance.

Green tea is not the only new beverage for Dunkin’ Donuts connoisseurs. Fresh, fruity flavors are in store for their black tea line as well, which will include blueberry, peach, and raspberry. These will be available in sweetened or unsweetened. The Dunkin’ Donuts unsweetened iced tea contains only five calories in a 16 ounce serving.

Another unusual item that Dunkin’ Donuts has released is the Eggs Benedict Breakfast Sandwich. This features a peppered egg, black forest ham, and a hollandaise-like spread, on a toasted English muffin. Maybe this was created to rival the ever popular Egg McMuffin? Whatever the reason, it does sound like a delightful concoction, and shows us that Dunkin’ Donuts is always looking for new ways to please its customer base. Ken Hoffman’s critique of the Eggs Benedict Breakfast Sandwich, which appears in the Houston Chronicle, gives a detailed account of the taste sensation of Dunkin’ Donuts’ most recent sandwich.

Whether you go to Dunkin’ Donuts for their classic coffee and donuts, or you prefer the newer, more unique offerings, a trip to Dunkin’ Donuts is sure to bring a burst of pleasure to your day.
