Fans can watch the Real Madrid vs. Dortmund football game live online and see which team can seize its opportunity in the UEFA Champions League round of eight.
Real Madrid enters the match as one of only two teams unbeaten in the tournament, and coach Carlo Ancelotti said his team is “100 percent ready for this match.” They will face a Dortmund team missing Robert Lewandowski, but Ancelotti knows anything can happen in UEFA.
“I watched [Madrid's semi-final] against Dortmund from last season,” he said. “They were strange matches. I thought that in the first leg Madrid had good control in the first half. The second half was incredible. In the UEFA Champions League, things like that can happen.”
The match starts Wednesday at 8:45 pm local time from Madrid.
Fans who watch the Real Madrid vs. Dortmund football match live online will see a Madrid team that just found its winning ways again. After two straight La Liga losses to FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC, they won 5-0 over Rayo Vallecano de Madrid over the weekend.
They will face a tough test in Dortmund, a resilient squad. Jürgen Klopp, Dortmund’s coach, said his team has been able to overcome injuries and setbacks this season.
“I’m not a magician but we have had to get over much adversity this season,” he said. “I have very good players and my duty is to make them better; so far we’ve done that very well. Our players that don’t feature in every game are going to grow up in this match.
“Real Madrid are more flexible now. The speed of their game is amazing. Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern are the best. We have to keep on evolving. Last year we were a barrier for Madrid and we are going to try to do that again.”
Fans who watch the Real Madrid vs. Dortmund may see a Spanish squad looking to stake out its advantage at home. Klopp said he expects them to be aggressive in front of the home crowd.
“This stadium is amazing and we are going to need ‘cojones.’ Madrid are favorites but they’ve also had their problems this season, although they’re better now with [Gareth] Bale and with [Ángel] Di María showing all their quality,” Klopp said. “We are used to not being favorites and becoming uncomfortable opponents. Nobody should leave us spaces because we can be very dangerous.”
