Disney World Workers Robbed With Purple Toy Gun, Cast Members Feared For Their Lives

Police say Disney World workers were robbed with a purple toy gun by two teenagers, who apparently went on a crime spree wielding the odd weapon.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Disney’s Frozen is officially now the highest grossing animated film ever, having generated well over $1 billion worldwide. But their animation studios are already working on their next animated classic… and this time it’s based upon Marvel super heroes.

Well, apparently you do not have to have super powers in order to combat these particular villains. The weapon of choice was a gun that only Buzz Lightyear might find attractive given its purple coloring. The Orange County Sherriff’s office say two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, went on a robbery spree where they held up various Disney World cast members while in the parking lot.

The first robbery occurred late on Thursday night and the pair absconded with stolen cellphones. The first incident the Disney World worker described the assailant as having a gun. The second time the thieves implied they had a gun, which probably meant they realized their purple toy gun was not going to keep fooling people for long. Despite no injuries being reported one of the cast members describe being in “fear of his life.”

Eventually police caught up with the two robbers and confiscated their oh-so-deadly weapon. Police deputies are attempting to link the two teens to other robberies, including another robbery that occurred at the nearby Windermere Cay Apartments.
