Watch Michigan Vs. Kentucky Basketball Live Online, 2014 NCAA Tournament

Fans can watch the Michigan vs. Kentucky basketball game live online as two programs with a strong basketball pedigree and a recent history of success look to punch a ticket to the Final Four.

Michigan is coming off a national championship appearance game last year and looking to avenge a loss to Louisville by again marching to the final game. Kentucky meanwhile is two years removed from winning the national championship and so far has rolled through the NCAA tournament despite its No. 8 seed.

The teams tip off Sunday a 5:05 pm from Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fans who watch the Michigan vs. Kentucky basketball game live online will see a Wildcats team that has faced three of last year’s Final Four teams in the span of eight days. But the team has hit its stride at the right time, and will present a difficult matchup for the Wolverines.

“The only thing I can tell you is, we just keep moving on,” Calipari said. “The best thing about this for me as a coach is, I’ve continued to coach like it’s midseason.”

Michigan comes into the game with a team that starts there sophomores and one freshman, and have been on a torrid stretch despite losing its best player, forward Mitch McGary. With McGary gone since having back surgery in January and last year’s stars Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. gone in the NBA, the Wolverines have a team that looks very different from the 2013 Final Four squad.

But as luck would have it, Michigan ended up with a cleared path to the Elite Eight. They could advance to the Final Four without beating anyone higher than a No. 7 seed.

“It’s a guess, that’s all it is,” coach Beilein said of the seedings. “And so, what it is, is, you’ve got eight teams right now, and these are the eight best teams in the country, no matter where they were seeded.”
