Palin’s Wasilla Bible Church attacked. Burn baby, burn?

wasilla bible church

The Wasilla Bible Church, the Alaskan church made famous as being the religious outpost for failed VP candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has caught fire.

The “suspicious” fire devastated the church Friday night, and officials are considering arson among possibilities. A ladies craft group was in the building when the fire broke out, although no one was hurt.

Palin released a statement after the fire and offered an apology to the assistant pastor “if the incident is in any way connected to the undeserved negative attention the church has received since she became a vice presidential candidate.”

Burn baby, burn? Estimated damage is in the vicinity of $1 million.

  1. Dear Moron, The only thing burning here is our Constitution. You leftist radical God Haters are trying to bring us to the brink of a major problem with your gay protests in churches and now burning churches of political opponents, but oh how you howl when your scared abortion clinics are destroyed. Live and let live. Free speech, and freedom OF religion are vital to the future of our wonderful country. Live in your little socialist communist corner of it and leave the rest of America alone.

  2. Ya… But it's those Christians that are dangerously self-righteous!!

Has the Western political left completely lost its ability to recognize it's own hypocrisy? Its own blatant, outrageous double-standards? Seriously, is there not a morality-mirror in the entire PeterPanSyndrome kingdom?

Thank God it's the other team that likes guns.

  3. A quick message from an Australian who is of the left wing.

Not many Australians have much time for you yanks any more. And it's not because of Bush. I, among others, will never travel or do business with a country that despises it own people. Mate, you are a sick F….

By the way, I came across this site by accident, never to return.

Being civilized person myself, I hope your rag does not burn baby burn and cause you millions of dollars damage.

I am going to donate some of my hard earned cash and help rebuild this church.

  4. Kind of a douchebag, aren't you Duncan? Unsubscribing, kthxbye.

To all Americans, please accept on behalf of all Australians my apologies for the comments made earlier by Jethro who clearly isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. The quiet majority of Australians love America and Americans. We are quiet because the left here are just as violent as the left obviously is in the US. That's how the left achieves censorship.Whether or not the left here like to admit it, we admire and respect what you do and can only dream of being half as successful as you are, warts and all.

  6. Through a wonderful stroke of luck, I had the chance to attend this church for a couple years while I temporarily worked and lived in Alaska. The people I encountered were more opened minded and loving than most people could ever even dream to be. Those people did so much for my family and I. I have truly never experienced a church that didn't buy into the poltical b.s. on either side as much this church. Also, I attended this church for the last 4 years and never saw Palin. She was hardly a loyal attendee and even if she was, the fact that one would wish harm on such loving and caring people because an unqualified republican v.p. candidate simply called the church her home repulses me and makes me pitty such people at the same time. Aren't comments such as these coming from the end of the political spectrum that claim to be so open minded and tolerant. Just an observation. This pastor privately prayed for the media even when they were being dragged through the mud by the haters. I have never subscribed wholeheartedly to one end of the political spectrum or the other, but if being liberal means wishing harm on those that are actually out there doing something positive for society then I will never lean that way. The people and the pastor of Wasilla Bible church have saved to build this very humble building for a long time as there is not a lot of money in this church, and it saddens and sickens me that this has happened. Sincerely, someone that bases his beliefs on the facts and not the deciet and spin of American media. I pray for this church and I will be giving as much as I can to help them rebuild as they have done so much for me.

Burn baby burn? Wow! I'm from South Carolina and have seen the ignorance of rednecks reveling when black churches are burned for ANY reason. To take any delight from this fire is horrible and shows how small minded you are.
