An Oldie-but-Goody: Heidi and Spencer Splash Out on Guns

Forget Angelina Jolie. I am so freaked out by reports that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have bought $10,000 worth of guns to protect themselves, I’m actually beside myself.

A “friend” of the two revealed that “They wanted the exact guns that the U.S. Delta Force uses” and that “Spencer wants to be prepared for anything,” and that felt sufficiently creepy enough. But no. It gets worse: they purchased a Scout semiautomatic, two Benelli M4 tactical shotguns, and two Wilson close quarter combat .45-caliber pistols to kit out their arsenal. Why not just matching “his ‘n’ hers” guns and call it a day? I’m not following why they bought such an assortment.

According to In Touch’s news via blog earlier this week, “Spencer does have a few enemies. He’s alienated a lot of people now that he’s rich and famous.”

Is Spencer actually threatened enough by his L.A. ex-friends that he’s consider using a shotgun? I really hope that the frenemies get left out of it, and that he doesn’t feel like he has to use these. . . ever. Maybe Heidi will lock them up and forget the combination, or they will move on to yet another silly stunt for attention.
