Justin Bieber’s Sneaker To Help Raise Operation Funds For Disabled Toddler

Justin Bieber’s sneaker is be used to raise funds for a baby in the UK suffering from severe cerebral palsy to have potentially life- changing surgery to help her walk.

Khloe Waite’s two children, Ralphie, 9, and his sister Beau, 7, won one of Bieber’s sneakers in a raffle while they queued to meet the then 19-year-old superstar at a VIP meet-and-greet before his concert in Birmingham, England in March last year.

“They had to stand in line with about 100 people while they waited,” Ms. Waite told the South Wales Argus paper, “and to keep them entertained.”

Justin’s team got them involved in games and a raffle, which is how they won the shoe.”

The Waites are friends of the family of 18-month-old Ayla-Mae Hemms, from Oakdale, South Wales.

Ayla is profoundly deaf and has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Her family are trying to raise the £100,000 (around $165,650) needed for selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery for Ayla, which would help her to become more independent and walk without help.

Ms. Waite, 28, says she wanted to help Ayla and thought auctioning off Bieber’s trainer would generate money towards the operation.

Luckily, Khloe’s unselfish children agreed and Bieber’s one black trainer heads to Ebay this week.

“When I said if there was anything we could do to help Ayla-Mae, the kids said, ‘what about Justin Bieber’s shoe?,'” the mom recalls.

“Our target from the auction would be £1,000, we would be really happy with that,” she adds. “All the money would go towards the Ayla-Mae Three Steps Forward Charity.”

“I think one of the saddest things about Ayla-Mae’s condition is that her hands are constantly clenched meaning that she will never be able to touch her face,” Khloe continued.

Meanwhile, back in Toronto, Canada, where he is currently recording part of his new album Bieber is probably unaware of the good his sneaker may do for a child in need.

The 20-year-old returned to his native country earlier this month.

In between tattooing up a storm and sending messages on his social media accounts about being focused and grateful to create music, Justin recently previewed a new song “Life Is Worth Living” and a club track with hip-hop maestro DJ Mustard.

On Tuesday, Bieber sent his fans into uproar when he posted a hint he may feature in an upcoming Calvin Klein underwear campaign.

The “Confident” singer teased two shots of himself wearing Calvin Klein underwear, low-slung pants and an open shirt, also asking fans for their opinion on a campaign.

Bieber posted more pictures of himself from the same photoshoot, and a message stating he has, “Been living in the studio. Always creating.”
