The game takes place Thursday at 9:45 EST at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, and looks to be the first real test for two teams that have otherwise cruised to the Sweet Sixteen.

After falling one win short of the FInal Four last year, the team is expected to reach no less than the championship game this year. But to do so, they’ll have to face the No. 4 UCLA Bruins, who finished the season ranked No. 20.
The Bruins are led by the backcourt combo of 6-foot-9 point guard Kyle Anderson (14.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.6 assists per game) and 6-foot-5, 220-pound Jordan Adams (17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds). The Bruins also employ a high-flying offense, leading the nation with 81.8 points and 17.2 assists per game.
But they will be facing the country’s No. 2 defense, allowing just.888 points per possession.
“They’re a tremendous running team and a tremendous passing team,” Gators coach Billy Donovan said of his squad. “They’re also an extremely high steal team [9.25 per game]. When they get steals, they get turnovers and they get out on the break and then they’re playing to the identity of who they are.”
Much of the game could depend on Will Yeguete, who is considered the most unheralded of Florida’s “Core Four” senior class. The 6-foot-9 senior had eight points, four revounds, a block, a steal, and an assist in a win over No. 9 Pittsburgh.
“He’s the epitome of a guy that when you look down at the stat sheet it’s hard to have a level of appreciation for him,” Donovan explained. “But I’ve always tried to talk to Will about how much I appreciate him, because he really impacts winning. He really impacts the game in a very, very positive way for us. What he does is really, really rare.”
