YouTube Offers Souped-Up Video Holiday Cards

YouTube’s bringing back its holiday video card feature with new bells and whistles for 2008.

The YouTube Greeting Cards site lets you pick any holiday-themed video already in its queue, or choose to submit your own personalized clip. You then select a theme, add a personal message, fill out the recipient list — and you’ve got your multimedia cards ready to roll.

Some of the precreated videos are pretty good, too. Here’s our favorite, as seen in the screenshot above:

YouTube’s also offering a selection of holiday songs in its Audioswap catalog, in case you want to get creative and put together your own mini-movie.
