Harry Styles Romance Taught Emily Atack A Thing Or Two About Twitter
Harry Styles and actress Emily Atack hooked up quite a while ago. However, the actress still isn’t willing to speak at-length about the situation.
If you don’t follow the comings and goings of Harry Styles and One Direction, then you may have missed this tiny blip on the singer’s romantic radar. Even Atack admits that her relationship with Styles was a short-lived and none-too-serious affair. However, that doesn’t mean she wants to discuss the relationship with the press.
According to Unreality TV, Harry Styles and the former The Inbetweeners star hooked up two years ago. The actress also said she learned a thing or two about the stuff she chooses to share on Twitter.
“I just can’t talk about it. I’m a natural blabbermouth and it always gets me into trouble,” the actress explained to the Mirror.
She added, “I learned that, with Twitter, you maybe have to think before you tweet. I’ve made up my mind never to say anything about Harry again.”
What did Atack say about Harry Styles that landed her in hot water on the micro-blogging site? Sugarscape reports that Emily’s remark about landing the singer in the sack prompted many One Direction fans to lash out in response.
“Does Harry from One Direction HAVE to be 16?! Let’s pretend he’s 18 at least! Then there’d be only One Direction he’d be going — to the bedroom!” she tweeted years ago.
Although many people assumed that Harry Styles and the actress were an item, Atack finally confessed to the romance during an interview with Reveal magazine last year. However, the actress insists their relationship wasn’t as serious as some One Direction fans believed.
“We were never boyfriend and girlfriend. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever admitted to what it was, because I’ve always just shrugged it off before,” Emily said about her romance with Styles.
She continued, “But I think it’s best to clear it up. So, yeah, we had a short-lived thing that was just a bit of fun. Then we went off in our opposite directions.”
Poor Harry Styles. The guy can’t get away from headlines about his love life or his commitment to One Direction. The Inquisitr previously reported that Styles sparked rumors about a possible solo project after hitting the studio with John Legend. The pair may have penned a lovely tune together, but the heartthrob insists he isn’t leaving the group anytime soon.
