Liam Payne Looking To Write Music For Other Outlets

Liam Payne is an avid songwriter, but is he gearing up to write hit music for groups other than One Direction?

According to one of the band members of Neon Jungle, Liam has met with them and said he wants to work with them. According to Mirror, girl group singer and rapper Amira McCarthy stated the following:

“We met Liam at the Brits after party. He told us he wanted to write for us and likes our sound, which was amazing. We couldn’t believe [it], so that’s definitely something for the future.”

This news isn’t that big of a surprise for One Direction fans considering in an interview with The Sun, Liam stated that he and bandmate Louis have been working very hard on improving their song writing.

“Louis and I have a little partnership going on,” he explained. “We’ve been pretty keen to start writing straight away. I’ve been in the studio already, it’s been going really well. Learning how to write is the best way of ensuring your career has longevity and that you have control over it.”

So does this mean that Liam Payne is gearing up to leave the band? Not anytime in the near future. According to Entertainmentwise, the boys are all gearing up for their next world tour which is set to begin in Columbia next month. Their North American leg of the tour begins in August.
