Blake Shelton Headlines CMA Music Festival Lineup … Which Is Finally Released!

For Blake Shelton fans, and Country Music Lovers in general, this June is time to head to Nashville for the 2014 CMA Music Festival!

Well, that is if you already have tickets, since the nightly concerts at LP Field are already Sold Out. In fact, even though the list of performers wasn’t announced until today, the shows sold out all the way back in February. Apparently the confidence Country Fans had in the CMA Festival attracting Country’s biggest stars such as Shelton, has paid off!

Country Music Association Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Trahern, made the announcement through a news release:

“CMA Music Festival is proud to have these fantastic artists perform on the LP Field stage. The fact that tickets sold out for the Nightly Concerts at a record-setting pace speaks to what Country Music Fans have come to expect from the CMA Music Festival and we feel strongly that this line up delivers on that promise.”

The announcement of Blake Shelton and the rest of the lineup of Country Artists, after several months of anticipation, couldn’t have come sooner. Blake Shelton headlines along with other big names including Miranda Lambert, Rascall Flatts, Keith Urban… Let’s just cut to the chase. Here’s the rest of the list:

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, and Chris Young.

The festival runs June 5-8 and even if you don’t have tickets to the CMA Music Festival, Nashville will have plenty of other events and activities throughout the weekend.

It’s not the first visit to the CMA Music festival for Blake Shelton, or several of the other featured acts. In fact, according to NewsOK, all except one of them has worked the LP Field stage before.

And talk about talent, this group of performers has taken home 80 CMA Awards culled from a staggering 289 nominations, several of those Blake Shelton’s.

While additional promotion of the event wasn’t really necessary, creative use of Social Media has played a role in the festival according to CMA Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Damon Whiteside.

“Since LP Field was already sold out before we announced a single artist, we had an opportunity to create a fun and engaging way to get our social media audience buzzing about the lineup,” said Whiteside via the press release. “The #CMAFestGuess clues drummed up excitement about the Festival, and our artist community really supported the effort, sharing and retweeting the clues to their followers to keep the conversation going.”

For Shelton, after showcasing in the CMA Festival, he’ll continue on his Blake Shelton 10 Times Crazier Tour 2014.

Shelton has enjoyed an excellent 2014 and it looks like that trend will continue. The Summer Blake Shelton tour covers a variety of venues from L.A. to Canada to New York so even with the sold out CMA show, Blake Shelton tickets could be available near you!
