Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling Did Not Break Up?

It appears that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling didn’t break up after all, even though the tabloids are running with stories that they did as they haven’t been spotted together in many months.

In a recent interview with E!News Eva — who usually doesn’t comment on her boyfriend — gushed about working for him in his directorial debut, a film called How To Catch A Monster, which he also wrote.

“It’s basically a dark fairy tale, and I play a woman named Cat,” Eva Mendes said and added, “Yeah, it’s a beautiful, beautiful film.”

But Eva’s comments about Gosling didn’t stop there, she went on to say that the atmosphere on set was great for her and co-stars Christina Hendricks and Saoirse Ronan:

“He really created the most beautiful, collaborative, creative atmosphere on set, I know I’m biased.”

“He’s the best, he’s the best.”

It is good to hear that Eva and Ryan are still an item and working together, as the news on the internet is that they went through a very messy break-up amid rumors that he was once again seeing his The Notebook co-star, Rachel McAdams.

Sensationalist headlines claim that Eva Mendes was looking glum as she left a friend’s house in Hollywood on March 17. You be the judge.

Truth is the couple hasn’t been spotted together in almost five-months and there appears to be conflicting wishes when it comes to commitment. Some suggest Eva wants a ring, while others say Ryan is the one looking for more.

But with the 40-year-old’s latest comments about working with Gosling maybe those rumors can be put to rest, although Eva made a public appearance at the New York and Company spring 2014 collection Pop Up Store launch party held at The Beverly Center in Los Angeles, without her man.

Mendes, as always, looked simply flawless with a black and white dress, high heels, and simple hair style for the occasion.

As to whether Ryan Gosling at the helm of his new film runs a tight ship or not, Eva Mendes simply says, “It’s the perfect ship.”
