Got a draw full of old or broken sex toys, don’t want to put them in the kerb side collection because its bad for the environment, or more likely you are afraid the neighbors cat will tip the bin, highlighting just how kinky you are? Well apparently you are not alone.
In the interests of helping you out Sex toy seller Dreamscapes has launched a recycling program for used or broken sex toys of all types. No they aren’t sent to a third world nation.
Anyone can mail in cleaned items, and the company cleans and strips them down. All the materials such as rubber, silicone, plastic, small motors and batteries — get shipped off to companies that can either recycle or reuse them.
Dreamscapes’ CEO, David Kowalsky said his company was careful to ensure that as much as possible gets reused and turned into new products, like “park benches”.
Hang on, park benches. Think about that the next time you go to the park and have a seat, you could be sitting on…. never mind.
For every vibrator, dominatrix mask and whatever other sex toy you might have that needs to be recycled Dreamscapes will give you a $10 gift card to use at one of its retail stores.
Apparently, being serious about keeping waste out of landfills means you have to recycle everything no matter where or in who it’s been.

Funny Pic! A new twist on being green and reducing your carbon footprint…but recycling a Sex Toys??? Some things are just better left alone.

Better to buy a quality toy that you won't have to throw away
If you care about what you put into your body stay away from cheap jelly products, period. I definately wouldnt want anyones used toys unless they where quality glass ones I guess – I cant imagine any others being very hygenic. I wouldnt think this will take off for sex toys in the uk.

This site is much better for recycling sex toys, they give you $10 back for every toy, and they are a full facility not some guys basement (that's creepy).

this is funny, only thing i can think of that can be recycled as a sex toy is condom, JUST KIDDING!!! but seriously, 99.999% of the sex toys out there can't be recycled. maybe adult games, books, dvds

i have to add, my friend saw another ad like this in Manhattan, and apparently it is not a joke either.
