Alexandra Daddario Leans On The Rock In 2015 Disaster Flick ‘San Andreas’

Alexandra Daddario made the Earth move for co-star Woody Harrelson in what had to be the steamiest nude sex scene on mainstream TV for a long time, when she bared everything but her soul in an episode of the recently-concluded HBO hit series True Detective. Now, the Earth will move again for Alexandra Daddario, but in a much scarier way, in her next film, about a massive earthquake in California.

Harrelson’s character may have been too unstable for her in True Detective, but Alexandra Daddario will have a “Rock” to lean on in San Andreas, a 2015 Hollywood disaster flick that stars pro wrestler-turned-action hero Dwayne Johnson. The star was once known to pro wrestling fans as “The Rock.”

Since then, the 41-year-old Johnson has built a sold career starring in mid-budget actioners such as the G.I. Joe series, The Scorpion King and of course, Race To Witch Mountain. In San Andreas he plays a sweaty helicopter pilot who must navigate the devastation that extends from Los Angeles to San Francisco to rescue his daughter from the destruction of the gigantic quake.

Johnson recently gave his fans a look at his San Andreas character.

Johnson plays opposite not one but two leading ladies in the movie. In addition to Alexandra Daddario, whose role in the Brad Peyton-helmed thriller has not yet been announced, Johnson’s ex-wife is played by another actress made famous by baring her breasts, Carla Gugino.

Gugino’s extended topless turn in the 2005 comic book film Sin City was the attention grabber that turned her career on an upward path.

No word yet on whether Alexandra Daddario — whose 28th birthday is today, March 16 — and/or the 42-year-old Gugino will be showing any skin in San Andreas. Massive earthquakes may not be the ideal setting for explicit nudity.

Before her birthday-suit scene in True Detective, the biggest moments in the career of Alexandra Daddario came in two Percy Jackson & The Olympians fantasy flicks, and of course the timeless cinema classic, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.
