Yoda Wins World’s Ugliest Dog Competition [Pic and Video]

Yoda the Chihuahua was both a winner and loser at the same time this week. While the 14-year old dog may have won a top prize and $1000 he won it because he has been crowed the World’s Ugliest Dog, the 23rd four-legged friend to take the top prize.

The actual competition was setup to raise awareness about abused animals and to encourage people to adopt animals that need a good home. Yoda himself was unsuccessfully bred and then abandoned, found behind an apartment building by owner Terry Schumacher after Terry first ran away thinking Yoda was a rat.
