Lana Del Rey Plans US Tour Ahead Of ‘Ultraviolence’ Release


Lana Del Rey is planning to take her music to the masses starting next month.

In case you haven’t heard, the “Video Games” singer has a new album to promote. Although her label hasn’t officially set a release date as of this writing, Del Rey teased that the record could drop on May 1. This might explain why Lana is touring extensively over the next two months.

According to Pitchfork, Lana Del Rey will kick off her tour at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on April 11. After taking the stage at Coachella on April 13, she’ll begin her trek across the United States. Curious parties can check out a full list of dates below.

If you’re planning to catch Lana Del Rey on tour, then you might want to pick up your tickets now. Pollstar reports that several of the singer’s early shows have already sold out. In fact, the singer’s fans helped her break sales records in Las Vegas and Phoenix.

“I can count on one hand how many artists have sold out in one day at Comerica Theatre, and none of them did it faster than Lana Del Rey,” Live Nation’s Southwest Music President recently explained.

Lana Del Rey is presently on-track to have a very successful year. Not only does the singer-songwriter have a new album and a tour on the way, she also recorded a track for the upcoming Angelina Jolie flick Maleficent. The eerie tune is prominently featured in the latest trailer.
