Harlem Globetrotters’ Chris “Flash” Richardson dies on tour

Chris “Flash” Richardson, a member of the famous Harlem Globetrotters has died in his sleep while on tour in Japan.
The cause of death was not yet confirmed, although a Harlem Globetrotters spokesman said he likely died of natural causes, which is interesting given he was 28 at the time of his death.
The Harlem Globetrotters were at a U.S. military base in Sasebo, Japan, as part of an annual tour.
Chris “Flash” Richardson previously played for University of Nevada Las Vegas and joined the Globetrotters shortly after his college career ended. He was best known for his dunking skills.
Details for a memorial and funeral are yet to be confirmed. It’s also not known if the tour will continue.

I would like to send out my sincere condolence to the Richarson family. I'm a USN Sailor stationed in Yokosuka Japan, and I had kust see Mr. Richardson and the team perform here on the 7th of December. I grew up on the the Globetrotters and as my father took me, I took my son to gather the expeirence. He really enjoyed Mr. Richardson and team, and was very disappointed to hear the news. When I told him, he knew exactly of whom I was speaking of without thinking about it. Which further let me know that Mr. Richarson left an impression on him. Our family thanks him greatly for the laughter and excitement, and as well he will be missed by the world.
