Amy’s Sicker Than We Thought
Amy Winehouse’s condition has worsened since her collapse on Monday, and now a source has spilled to The Sun that it could be tuberculosis. It looks like having her dad hanging around the flat hasn’t helped her quite as much as say, Britney, but then again, he doesn’t exactly have the same power over her– yet. Maybe he should, especially after this came out in The Sun:
“Amy is in a bad way. Doctors are still struggling to control her heartbeat but the chest condition has been really worrying them. She’d been been suffering horrible coughing fits and hurling up blood for a while but refused to be examined. Doctors now believe it is tuberculosis and are doing more tests to be certain.”
If test results come back to identify Amy’s general “sickness” as tuberculosis, that could give her the scare she needs to get it together. You’d think that the fact that she’s booked for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party in Hyde Park at the end of June would help, but she’s missed gigs for less than this before.

Very sad news. I can't even imagine being that comfortable with my own self-destruction. Hopefully she can get herself together enough to expose us all to more of her talents... because I'm tired of being exposed to her demons.
