Britney has had an incredible couple of weeks, she has got her body back, completed a promotional tour of Europe, released a doco about her life, her latest album is selling like hotcakes, and then to ensure we don’t get lulled into a false sense of security, she shows that she is still a little nuts. Apparently she is considering joining the Church of Scientology.

According to the U.K.’s Heat Magazine, Britney recently told a friend she was open to “new things” including Scientology.

“I have met Katie a few times, so I called her up and just started asking questions about Scientology.

“Katie told me she wasn’t so sure about it at first either, but once Tom explained it to her and she read the books and took some classes, it really started to work for her. Then Tom wanted to talk to me about it, so I did. He was nice and answered all my questions and sent me books.”

Sure he did. How about being open to something new, like being normal.

What will Madonna say? Weren’t you supposed to be considering Kabbalah?

she's playing you guys. do you really think for a minute that her father would let her do this?
  • Scientologists strive to help prevent kids from getting into drugs, campaign against harmful psychiatric treatment, run literacy campaigns, educate people about their human rights and generally improve understanding between people. These things help society and make this world a better place, so well done to Britney for recognizing what Scientology really is, despite what the media, as well as this website, want you to think it is. The article in Heat Mag said how she has read some books on it. So she has found out about it for herself rather than rely on hearsay and gossip. I encourage you to do the same . Good for Britney. Having any religion is better than having none. Scientologists do more for their community than any other religious group I have seen.

at least she's trying to improve herself for once. That's the most important thing.

Watch out for Scientology. It is not a religion, just a series of self help routines that have NEVER been scientifically proven. L Ron Hubbard made unsubstantiated claims that no Scientologist has ever been able to demonstrate. They charge massive amounts of money to get on, now get this, BRIDGE TO TOTAL FREEDOM. The catch is you have to pay thousands to make it up the "bridge," or sign on to a billion year contract with Scientology's fake military the Sea Org. Also, the information that folks who pay for auditing receive is considered secret to those who have not paid. And then there is that cheap primitive lie detector called the e-meter. There is also no evidence of a scientific nature that backs up Scientology's view of what the machine does. You can even control the needle through hand pressure. And then imagine being "sec checked" if someone suspects you of questioning the effectiveness of the "religion." They terrorise and brainwash all they come in contact with. I find it funny that Scientology is the only faith I know of to have a specific "celebrity center".

Good for her! Get on and find out for yourself.
  • She's such an insane Republican with a Repuiblican IQ. She's PERFECT to hand all her money over to the notoriously criminal Scientology crime syndicate. That's a perfect fit for the idiot.

It's good to see that she's getting her life in order. If checking out religion is one of the things she's doing then good for her. If it helps her then that's even better.

For one thing Britney won't be disconnecting from what would then be her "SP" family. Because there is no way in HAIL her parents would support this. Not to mention she has been treated in psych wards, is likely on psych drugs, and Kevin would never allow his kids indocrinated into the cult. She'll stick to her christian roots and is playin with everyone
