Michele Bachmann Claims Gay People Are ‘Bullying Americans’

Michele Bachmann

Michele Bachmann, the creator of the Tea Party, has recently said she is sick and tired of all the gays who “bully the American people”.

In an interview with conservative radio host, Lars Larson, at last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, Bachmann expressed her anger toward Arizona Republican governor, Jan Brewer, vetoing Arizona’s anti-gay bill, SB-1062. According to an article by The Huffington Post, the bill would have allowed businesses to refuse service to gay individuals on religious grounds. She believes the downfall of the bill illustrates how LGBT activists have “bullied” voters and politicians. She expressed her opinion by stating:

There’s nothing about gays in there. But the gay community decided to make this their measure. I think the thing that is getting a little tiresome, the gay community, they have so bullied the American people, and they’ve so intimidated politicians. The politicians fear them, so that they think they get to dictate the agenda everywhere.

Michele also expressed how she felt liberals likely wouldn’t attempt to change the U.S. Constitution to “take away” religious rights because “activist judges” and President Barack Obama will simply ignore the document instead. She continued on by stating:

He’s a lawless president who’s violating the Constitution with every executive order.

On the opposite side of the political stance, The New Civil Rights Movement reports that it is amusing that Bachmann thinks that gay people are bullying straight people. Gay people amount to 5%, possibly 10%, of the population, yet 55% of Americans support same-sex marriage. Even more support LGBT civil rights.

For most of Michele’s career, she fought against gay people and same-sex marriage, while a member of the Senate representing Minnesota. During her run, she said being involved in a gay and lesbian lifestyle is personal bondage, personal despair, and personal enslavement. However, she has said that allowing children to know about gay people is considered “child abuse”.

All of her personal views have given her a lot to deal with. First, she is set to retire her position, which is rumored to be a “forced retirement”. Second, she is facing several ethics inquiries over her use of campaign funds and other possible misdeeds. Finally, her poll numbers are actually very bad with a whopping 59% of voters having an unfavorable opinion of the three-term Congresswoman. That is six out of ten people! Presently though, she’s said that the United States needs a woman to be president, just the right one. This is a verbal attack directly against Hilary Clinton, as reported previously on The Inquisitr.

Despite all the negatives going against her, it seems that if Michele Bachmann is to go down, she will be going down kicking and screaming to the very end.

I've never been bullied by a gay person. They have never treated me with anything other than respect. Someone should stick a sock in this broads mouth. She's obviously forgotten her place. Her man needs to grow some spine and take her shoes away.

They have the same rights under the law as all people in America. The same laws apply to everyone equally. Laws often have restrictions. Behaviors are not civil rights. Stretching every day is not a civil right, nor is going to the gym, walking, going to the bathroom, etc. The sexual behavior of homosexuals is not a civil right. Its a behavior and the homosexuals are hiding under "civil rights" in order to change the meaning of marriage and force society into accepting it as normal. Homosexuals want others in society to think like them (and behave like them?). They are working hard to change moral, social, and political opinion to be more in line with what they want. They are not content to be what they want to be. They want others to accept them. They want others opinions to change and conform to their ideology and behavior. What gives them the right to try and change society into what they want it to be?

Why do you think that? Because I agree with what God says about homosexuality (1 Cor. 6:9-10,)? No, the Bible's view of homosexuality is not politically correct. The politically correct view is that there is nothing wrong with two people just loving each other. Who are we Christians to judge them, right? Well my question is who are you or anyone to say what is morally right and wrong? Do you have an objective standard of morals that all people should follow? I would say no, you don't. You appeal to things like "society" and "common sense" and "basic rights", etc. to promote your opinion of homosexual normality. What is common sense to one person isn't necessarily common sense to another. And, basic rights? Well, we all have basic rights. But, the homosexuals want special rights. They want laws passed to protect their sexual behavior. They also want to redefine marriage and require everyone else to accept it! (Will the redefinition stop with homosexual marriage? Don't bet on it. Pedophiles are now asking for rights, too, and they are using the same arguments initially presented by the homosexual movement decades ago.) Think about it. The pro homosexuals want laws passed to protect a behavior, a behavior! It is, after all, homoSEXuality. I want to know what right do you and others who think like you, the politically correct, pro homosexual minority have to impose your values on the majority? What right do you all have to condemn Christians, call us names, and be so very intolerant when we say their behavior is a sin? Truth is, you don't have sound arguments, but you do have liberal dogmatism pushed along by the momentum of the compromising liberal media.

Michael Trotter -Talk bout shoving ones agenda down someones throat???. You " good Christians" have that down to a science. Tell ya what, Keep your religion in Your HOME and your CHURCH, quit pushing it off on everyone else. Religion is such a mess. Figure it out among yourselves, and when all you religious nuts can agree on one religion and way of thinking, get back with me. I will just sit back and watch you all kill each other some more.

  9. Robert Gatcombe

Michael Trotter – What is scary is you having an opinion of me, and you have no facts or grounds to do so. Kindly fuck off.

I'll tell you what Robert, I'll take my religion anywhere I damn well choose to take it. Once again, do you have an objective standard of morals that all people should follow? I know the ploy here. your position does not hold a sound argument so you have to go on the attack in order to give your position some type of intellectual credence. (failed) Should have listened to your parents and stayed in school Robert.

Michael Trotter -So, you delve to the depths of Trolldom?? Insulting someones education, when again, you have no clue as to my education or experience. Stupid intolerant know it all Christians, your "type" is all the same. "Do as I say because Jesus is on my team". Bwa ha ha ha ha…No. Keep YOUR Religion to yourself. Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and all others including us atheists do not want to hear your better than thou bullshit. If it works for you, fine, just don't feed me your line of bull….and don't ever speak of Morals again. Get your own religion straightened out first. Millions of people killed in the name of Jesus beg you.

  12. Robert Gatcombe

No one says you have to act or be be gay, Quit telling people that have to be or act "Christian"…

c'est la vie… The article's end speaks for itself…and of course has nothing to do with bullying (by gays..hummmm) and everything to do with the incompetence, bullying and questionable financial management of Michele Bachman, "All of her personal views have given her a lot to deal with. That is six out of ten people!"
