Miki Howard: Is Mother Of Michael Jackson’s Illegitimate Son The Real ‘Billie Jean’?

Miki Howard might be the mother of Michael Jackson’s illegitimate son, leading to speculation that the R&B singer is in fact the “Billie Jean” that Jackson sang about in his 1982 hit song.

A DNA test this week reportedly proved that the King of Pop is the father to Brandon Howard, a 31-year-old singer who bears an uncanny resemblance to Jackson. Brandon’s mother is Miki Howard, a singer who was close with Michael in the early 80s.

The story gets even more interesting. Back in the 1980s, Miki Howard used to go by Billy, and if the DNA test is legitimate then she would have had an affair with Michael roughly the same time that the song “Billie Jean” came out.

The song contains the lyrics: “Billie Jean’s not my lover” and “The kid is not my son.”

It isn’t clear just how conclusive the DNA test is, and whether it’s been verified. The test was obtained by Alki David and his company, FilmOn.com, using a dental impression that David bought at auction from a Beverly Hills doctor.

Brandon Howard has brushed aside questions about whether Michael Jackson is his father, and Miki Howard hasn’t broached the topic either.

Brandon Howard’s father, singer Augie Johnson, also claims that Miki didn’t even know Michael Jackson at the time, and that he is 100 percent certain he is the boy’s father.

While it’s uncertain whether Michael Jackson is truly the father of Brandon Howard, his mother was a pretty big star in her own right. Miki Howard had a string of Top 10 songs in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including “Baby, Be Mine”, “Come Share My Love” and “Love Under New Management”. She also had two songs reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B Singles charts — Ain’t Nobody Like You” and “Ain’t Nuthin’ in the World.”
