Meet ZEHRA ‘Super Jet’ Of The Future: New York To Paris In 90 Minutes


Imagine hopping on a jet in the morning, flying to Paris from New York for a business meeting and still making it home in time for dinner, that’s the plan for ZEHRA, a new project by the makers of the Concorde that will travel four times the speed of sound, 3,125 mph to be exact.

The plane is not only fast, it’s also being called Zero Emission Hypersonic Transportation since instead of jet fuel it would run on hydrogen, water and biofuel, while flying outside of earth’s atmosphere which will mean very little pollution will remain on our planet.

Don’t get too excited yet though, EADS, makers of the ZEHRA don’t expect it to take off until 2050.
