Posted: June 21, 2011

If you’re interested in giving Ghost Recon: Future Soldier‘s mutliplayer a test drive, you’re going to be waiting for awhile. To be specific, you’re going to be waiting until January 2012.

The news comes straight from the official Ghost Recon Twitter account yesterday evening. “We know you have been asking about the beta,” read the tweet. “We’re excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012!”

Unfortunately for you PlayStation 3 users, it looks like the beta will be Xbox 360-exclusive. The developer confirmed as much in several tweets to inquiring fans after the news first broke out.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is due out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC around Q1 2012. While you’re here, you can check out a rather lengthy taste of the game’s singleplayer campaign in the video below.
