Taylor Swift: Stalker Believes He Is Married To Her, Restraining Order In Place

Taylor Swift has applied for, and obtained, a restraining order against Timothy Sweet, the man who has been stalking her since 2011. During the past few years, Swift has received literally dozens of emails and letters from Sweet, claiming his undying love for her.

To make matters worse, Sweet also vowed to “kill” any person who stood between them including, for some reason, Secretary of State John Kerry.

In one of the messages posted by Sweet, aged 33, he said:

“If anyone in Taylor’s family get killed it is not my fault. My wife Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverley Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life. (sic).”

Because it seemed clear that to Swift that Mr Sweet was clearly delusional, bordering on disturbed, in his alleged love for her, she filed a request for the temporary restraining order against him, which will expire on March 25.

A judge from the Los Angeles Superior Court has ordered Mr Sweet to stay at least 100 yards away from Swift, her mother, father, and younger brother.

Swift said to reporters recently that Sweet’s behavior and constant stalking of her was “seriously alarming and harassing” and that the constant flow of messages and phone calls were “extremely distressing to me and my family.”

Taylor Swift made her feelings perfectly clear to the stalker and said that she did: “not have a desire to interact with or communicate in any way with Mr Sweet.”

It remains to be seen whether or not the Los Angeles Superior Court handling the case will extend the temporary restraining order against Timothy Sweet.
