British Marine Leaves Friends $150,000 For Vegas Vacation


David Hart took out a $400,000 life insurance policy on himself before being deployed to Afghanistan and now it has been revealed that the British Marine, who was killed in the line of duty, has left $150,000 of that money to his friends.

The money, left to 32 people, is to be used for an extravagant trip to Las Vegas, while the remaining money will be donated to a charity for injured Marine’s and to his family.

According to one of Hart’s friends, his favorite time of the year was their “lad’s holidays” adding that they were “always the best two weeks of the year.”

In a final letter to his friends Hart wrote:

‘Go and have a good time and spend all this money.”

According to the Daily Mail Hart was killed one day before his 24th birthday after a Taliban car bomb exploded. His friends in the British armed services called him “the Perfect Marine.”
