Robin Thicke Trying His Best To Win Back Paula Patton [Rumor]

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are reportedly heading for a divorce, though rumors suggest that the singer is trying his best to win back his soon-to-be ex-wife.

The famous couple, who were once high school sweethearts, tied the knot back in 2005. Although reports about problems in their relationship started bubbling up after his now-infamous twerk-a-thon with “Wrecking Ball” singer Miley Cyrus, the pair managed to weather through the tabloid gossip.

Robin Thicke somehow kept his marriage together after a photo surfaced of him posing with a fan. While this wasn’t necessarily a horrible thing in and of itself, a reflection in the picture showed Thicke’s hand firmly planted on the young woman’s behind.

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” the couple said in a joint statement to People magazine.

Although the folks at TMZ are reporting that Patton is determined to go through with the divorce, rumor has it that Robin Thicke doesn’t want to bid farewell to the relationship just yet. He’s apparently very concerned about his son Julian Fuego growing up in two separate homes.

The website also reports that Thicke hopped a plane to visit his wife shortly after she delivered the news. When he hits the road against this week, anonymous sources said the “Blurred Lines” singer probably won’t spend any time hanging out with fans on the town.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah’s Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25. This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience,” Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort announced.

Fortunately for fans who were fearing the absolute worst, Thicke announced on Wednesday that the show will definitely go on. However, new dates for the canceled gigs haven’t popped up as of this writing.

“I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington, D.C. this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there,” the singer wrote.
