Blake Bortles Girlfriend Lindsey Duke Overshadows Him Going Into NFL Draft
Blake Bortles might want girlfriend Lindsey Duke along when he goes to visit NFL teams in the lead-up to this year’s draft.
The Central Florida quarterback has been shooting up draft charts, but it seems that some team executives are more interested in his famous girlfriend. The blonde-haired Duke has become wildly popular online, and in a recent interview with Dan Patrick the quarterback said NFL teams are starting to take notice.
“Nothing was really that bad. I got a couple girlfriend questions,” Bortles said about the pre-draft interviews. “If I had one, some awkward… if we come to town will she be there for dinner and stuff like that.”
Blake Bortles said the girlfriend questions didn’t seem too serious, but instead a way for NFL executives to test how having a famous girlfriend would affect him.
“They knew going into the meeting and I think that was kind of the angle to see how I react to that,” Bortles said.
These kinds of questions seem common in pre-draft screenings. In 2010, Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland made headlines when he asked wide receiver Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute.
Lindsey Duke is also not girlfriend to rival her football playing beau for popularity. After the 2013 BCS Championship Game, Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb became a viral sensation after broadcaster Brent Musburger fawned over her on the air.
More recently, the pregnant girlfriend of Team USA hockey star T.J. Oshie — Lauren Cosgrove — became a trending search on Google.
It’s not hard to see why the girlfriend of Blake Bortles has become so popular. Lindsey Duke is a model with tens of thousands of followers across social media, and a penchant for posting scantily clad pictures.

Bortles has already seen his girlfriend far surpass him in the popularity department. A Google search for Lindsey Duke turns back more than 6 million results, while a Blake Bortles search has a few hundred thousand.
Maybe if he can manage to get picked in the first round of the NFL draft and go on to win a Super Bowl or a few MVPs, Blake Bortles can pass girlfriend Lindsey Duke in Google searches.
