Harry Styles Is An ‘Amazing Writer’, Says Simon Cowell
Harry Styles is apparently expanding his horizons and writing his own music and according to The X Factor creator is an “amazing writer.” Who knew?
Styles has reportedly penned a new song with musician John Legend, which has been presented to the US X Factor duo, Alex and Sierra for their debut album.
The duo sounded excited at the prospect of performing one of Harry Styles’ songs:
“Our favourite (song) is one that Harry Styles wrote with John Legend, it’s beautiful and lovely. He is actually an amazing writer, he’s pitched us a few other good ones and they’re really good.”
Simon Cowell — who is credited with discovering One Direction on The X Factor — has been talking about Harry and the boys on Twitter in recent days:

The new song by Harry Styles is said to be a romantic ballad, based on? Well, we don’t know that, but maybe on his new flame, the Kardashian clan member Kendall Jenner. A good guess?
Part of the tune reportedly goes like this:
“I saw your face, I heard your name / Felt the blood rushing through my veins / I still remember / How could I forget?”
According to a source that has access to the project the song reflects Harry Styles talent in the writing department:
“It’s a testament to Harry’s talents that he can work alongside John – who is, without doubt, one of the most gifted songwriters of a generation.”
According to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers database Harry Styles is credited with 26 songs, 18 of which have never been heard by the public.
But no worries, Styles is still a part of One Direction along with Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan.
Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton are an American indie pop duo, who won the third and final season of the US The X Factor and were mentored by Simon Cowell, as was One Direction.
As previously reported by The Inquisitir Harry Styles has denied talk that the popular boy band is splitting up, after news surfaced that the guys had not seen each other in about three months, explaining that they were all taking some time off to spend with their respective families, because they have a life outside of the band.
