Kim Kardashian Lashes Out At Butt Implant Rumors, Tells Tabloids ‘Get A Life!’
Kim Kardashian unleashed an epic Twitter smackdown Wednesday against tabloid journalists who can’t let go of the rumor that the reality TV icon has had plastic surgery enhancements to her famously sizable butt.
From the earliest days of her rise to fame based on basically no noteworthy achievements, the prominent posterior of Kim Kardashian has been an object of fascination for fans and the media.
Especially in an era where famous women, for some reason, are held to a virtually impossible standard of thinness and stick-figure physiques are inexplicably prized, when a woman such as Kim Kardashian becomes one of the most famous personalities in America primarily on the strength of a noticeably large derriere, her physical attributes will inevitably be met with a measure of disbelief.
In fact, in 2011, Kim attempted to dispel the rumors that she had some kind of plastic surgery to make her buttocks bigger by getting an X-ray of her back end and releasing it publicly, to prove that her rear uses no artificial ingredients of any kind.
But the whispers never went away, no matter what she did. And they resurfaced again last week when she was photographed wearing an ill-fitting pair of tight pants that somehow accentuated the size of her butt, making it appear the largest it has looked outside of her months of pregnancy.
One supposed “insider” even told a tabloid, rather implausibly, “Kim hasn’t had implants. She’s had the fat from her tummy and thighs taken out by lipo, then injected into her bottom.”
Why Kim Kardashian would voluntarily undergo such a macabre medical procedure was not explained. But by Wednesday of this week, it became clear that Kim Kardsahian has had enough of the nonsense about her backside.
Taking to Twitter — and using a service that allows Twitter posts to exceed 140 characters — the 33-year-old future Mrs. Kanye West told the tabloid rumor mongers to “get a life!”

“I’m seeing all these nonsense tabloids claiming I have butt implants-injections. Get a life! Using pics of me 15lbs skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing to me now! I still have weight to lose,” she declared. “I’m not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I’ve lost a lot so far & I’m proud of that! Don’t give young girls a complex!”
For Kim Kardashian, who is the subject of tabloid gossip nearly every day of her life to actually take time to respond to this rumor would appear to indicate that this issue is actually very meaningful to her.
