Luke Bryan Signs On For ACM’s 4th Annual ‘Fan Jam’
Luke Bryan recently signed on to perform during the ACM Fan Jam later this year.
The popular country music singer is one of the first artists to commit to the event, which will take place immediately following the ACM Awards on April 6. Bryan is presently slated to host the ceremony alongside fellow recording artist Blake Shelton.
For those who don’t keep up with the latest in country music, Luke Bryan is the current ACM Entertainer of the Year. As such, it’s not altogether surprising that the singer decided to lend his considerable talents to the so-called Fan Jam this April.
The 49th Annual ACM Awards will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. If you can’t attend the ceremony in-person, then tune into CBS on April 6 at 8 pm. The network presently plans to air the awards show live for folks around the country who can’t make the trip.
Of course, Luke Bryan isn’t the only artist who’s helping out with the 4th Annual ACM Fan Jam. Florida George Line is also expected to perform during the event. Since the group recently teamed up with Bryan for the tune “This is How We Roll,” there’s a strong possibility the track will pop up on the set list at some point during the gig.
While he’s preparing for his hosting duties at the ACM Awards and his performance at the Fan Jam, Luke Bryan is staying busy with his brand new puppy. The pooch, which the singer calls Pap, hangs out with the singer during his stint on the road.
To keep the dog from messing up the tour bus, Bryan is apparently teaching it how to use the potty. Although this is still very much a work in progress, the singer seems convinced that his puppy will master the art of using the toilet before long.
“We are potty training Pap. It’s a whole ordeal. It’s tough because sometimes we’re on the bus traveling 13 hours and we’re an hour out, so Pap, he has his little accidents but we’re forgiving him. But we’re working on it,” he told The Country Vibe.
Bryan added, “He’s a good bus dog though. We were talking about with all his barking and all his accidents and all his chewing up shoes, it’s still worth having a bus dog on the bus. We love it. It’s fun.”
