Adrian Broadway, 15 Years Old, Shot Dead For Egging Arkansas Man’s Car

Adrian Broadway

Adrian Broadway, just 15 years-old, was out riding with friends in Little Rock, Arkansas on a Friday night when they made a fatal decision. They decided to visit the home of Willie Noble, 48, and pull a prank on the home. Noble’s son had pranked the group of teenagers on Halloween night.

Adrian Broadway met up with five other friends at a Taco Bell where they hopped in a Hyundai Sonata driven by Deshon Nelson, 18. They arrived at Noble’s home some time around midnight following Valentine’s Day. Grabbing piles of leaves, throwing eggs, and using toilet paper, they covered Noble’s car as a prank. That’s when Noble apparently heard the noise outside of his home and came outside with his gun.

Willie Noble, 48, opened fire on a car full of teens in Little Rock, Arkansas for egging his car.

As the six teens jumped into the Sonata, Noble opened fire on the car. Nelson took off, but not before the car was riddled with bullets, breaking the driver’s side window. The car made it to a nearby gas station where police were called. Upon arrival, Adrian Broadway was unresponsive. She was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. It was there that she was pronounced dead.

16 year-old Kortazha Williams, who was also in the car, spoke to reporters about the night.

“It was a joke. We was friends, we was gonna come over there and clean it up,” Williams said while weeping. “It was supposed to be a prank. We were supposed to get up right now, and we were supposed to laugh.”

No one else was severely injured in the car. Nelson, the driver, suffered cuts on his hand and face as a result of the broken window.

Willie Noble was formally charged following the investigation by police officers this weekend. He is charged with first-degree murder, one count of terroristic acts, and five counts of aggravated assault.

Considering the recent cases involving shooting related deaths, this one is sure to receive some attention. Noble was able to open fire on a group of teens who were guilty of trespassing at worst. Adrian Broadway was simply out to pull a prank on a friend. Her death will be remembered and affect the Little Rock community for some time.
