Hasbro Shows Off Dinobots From Transformers 4

Hasbro has released their new line of toys based off of the upcoming movie Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. From what shows, this includes the Dinobots.

Originally reported by 4-Traders, new Dinobots confirmed for the movie include Slug, Scorn, and the two-headed Strafe, and Slash. They all join Grimlock seen in the latest movie trailer with Optimus Prime riding on his back.

What is interesting about these new line of toys is the separation between the ones made for collecting compared to those made for children’s entertainment. New features include the flip-to-change and smash-to-change transforming abilities. These were mostly included to appeal to a newer and younger generation of Transformer fans. Eric Nyman, Senior Vice President of Hasbro Global Marketing, said:

The new Transformers: Age of Extinction line is all about capturing the Transformers magic for kids.

With the new line of toys along with new lifestyle and digital programs, it seems easier than ever for children to get into Transformer action.

Reported earlier, this toy line comes into fruition on the hype of the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction. It is directed by Michael Bay, who is responsible for directing the previous three movies in the series too. The new film also introduces a new cast which includes Mark Wahlberg as Cage Yeager as well as bringing in returning Transformers such as Optimus Prime along with new ones like Grimlock.

The movie releases on June 27th of this year.
